Here's another online marketplace for photos and illustrations, Fotolia. It is an online microstock photography agency that sell and buy royalty-free photos, images, vectors, illustrations, etc. Fotolia is headquartered in New York, New York, founded by Thibaud Elziere, Oleg Tscheltzoff and Patrick Chassany in November 2005. The company also has offices in Seattle, Washington and Paris, France.

Fotolia has been a leader as a stock marketplace worldwide, and particularly in Europe, for the last 10 years. Now with 40 millions images and ever growing.

You earn commission for every image or video sold and the amount is determined by your ranking and chosen exclusivity options:

•     For content sold through Pay-As-You-Go system pay-out is between 20% and 63% of the sale price
•     For content sold through Subscription pay-out is between 20% and 25% of the sale price with a minimum guarantee.

The minimum payout amount is 50 Credits you can withdraw it as cash using Paypal or Moneybookers. Fotolia does not charge transaction fees.

iStock, just like Shutterstock and DepositPhotos is an site that offer royalty free, international microstock photos with the micropayment business model. Images cost between 1 and 150 credits, depending on size and image collection. 

They offer not just photos but also illustrations, videos, and music clips. To sell your stock you will need to be an iStock member, don't worry it is free. Then you will need to Apply to Be a Contributor where you will need to pass a quiz. After that you will need to Submit Samples of Your Work. You will need to Upload 3 samples of your work along with your application.

iStockphoto pay with a base royalty rate of 15% for each file downloaded with iStock Credits or Pay As You Go pricing. If you are an Exclusive contributor you can earn up to 45%. Images downloaded by subscription are paid a flat royalty based on contributor exclusivity and the collection their file belongs to.

DepositPhotos: Earn money from your Photos

   
Another site where you can earn money from your photos is DepositPhotos, like Dreamstime they are a royalty-free microstock photography agency.  DepositPhotos is headquartered in  Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The money you earn from your photos will depend on the license type under which the image has been uploaded and the resolution in which it has been purchased. They also have levels called "Contributor's Level" which is determined by the number of items sold on their website. The higher your sales the higher your Contributor's Level and the higher your commission.

You will need to reach $50 before you can withdraw payments for the sale of your images. It may take up to 3-5 days for your payment through Paypal or Skrill.
